CHENNAI: A tap, swipe and flick, and quacks could be behind bars. In an initiative to keep a check on fake doctors, the Tamil Nadu Medical Council (TNMC) has begun issuing certificates that carry details of practitioners along with an encryption that can be verified by patients using an app in their smartphones.
